SPOT Image Corporation acquires interest in i-cubed
CHANTILLY, VA -- SPOT Image Corporation, the wholly owned subsidiary of Spot Image, S.A. in Toulouse, France, announces its acquisition of an interest in information, integration and imaging LLC (i-cubed), a geospatial information solutions company based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
“I-cubed has been a partner of Spot Image for many years and is a key supplier of online imaging services and Web technologies. Through this agreement, the Spot Image group is establishing a solid partnership to build on these new technologies. This investment will strengthen the group’s longstanding relationship with i-cubed and boost the deployment of its geoweb strategy,” said Hervé Buchwalter, Spot Image’s Chairman & CEO.
Spot Image is associated with ESRI in i-cubed and is looking forward to working with them to bring imagery content into GIS solutions.
