An established cartographic standard

This data base is used to make SPOT orthoimages and to register images from other sensors.
It can also be used for:
- impact studies and geological structure studies,
- design and engineering of mobile telephone networks,
- setting up road and railway networks,
- preparing missions and navigation files for weapon systems,
