FORMOSAT-2 and change detection
- FORMOSAT-2 imagery is of great value for monitoring sites and detecting change. You choose the revisit frequency, to quickly highlight any changes in infrastructures, land occupancy and land cover, and to track moving objects.

Detecting change and keeping databases current are vital to clearly understand what’s happening on the ground and make informed decisions. For this purpose, FORMOSAT-2 combines:
  • temporal resolution, with up-to-date information to improve analysis and classification
  • spatial resolution, to support finely detailed analysis
