Spot Image can directly program the SPOT satellites and their revisit observation frequency for any given point on the globe which means it can acquire images of your geographic area of interest at any time.
Whether for long periods of time or immediate needs, for a specific location or a huge region, SPOT satellites can be programmed to meet your time and geographic requirements.

A programming service adapted to your needs
Spot Image offers 2 kinds of customized programming to meet user requirements:
- The standard programming service, when image acquisition does not have to be done at very specific times,
- The priority programming service, subject to particular technical and time constraints; SPOT satellite resources are then fully mobilized.
In both cases, programming requests are given personal attention to ensure that users get the best possible quality service:
- This is done by analysing the requests with users to evaluate all of their needs,
- A feasibility study is done, taking other requests, technical system constraints and weather forecasts into account.
- We give a quotation, for the number of scenes to be acquired, the prices and the programming parameters.
- SPOT satellites are programmed, to take the latest weather forecasts into account.
- The acquired images are validated and the customer informed for each validated scene.
- Customers are given regular reports on viewing attempts.
