Q1 - How many bits is the VMI on Spot 4? I know that AVHRR is 10 bit (1,024 brightness levels), but I was unable to find out what the VMI is. The data from the VEGETATION instrument carried by Spot 4 are encoded on board with 10 bits for each pixel in each of the four spectral bands. |
